\nspattered on pink wool. On
\nAir Force One, she stands
\nnext to LBJ as he is sworn in,
\nwearing her husband\u2019s brain
\nmatter. Too young to know
\nthe import, I store her chiseled,
\nfeatures in memory, not unlike
\nthe face of my own mother\u2019s.

She is a recipient of a fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and a residency from Yaddo.
