Reach<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 180px;\">for it. The smoke of light<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">shrinks away. Ghost of a face,<\/p>\n<p>ghost of a man who left<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">a ghost-kiss on the glass&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>only proof of touch,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">only trace of theft.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;What other explanation?\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">Gone the body, its accessories:<\/p>\n<p>musk, salt, and breath&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">the bell of the throat, wiry<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">lotus at the base of the spine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">And you, empty<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">cage that has lost its bird,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">at night, the squeaking<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">of a tiny metal swing<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">makes you long for song.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">You say his name<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">You say his name<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">You say his name<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">and the last part you possess<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">of him now dissipates. The moon,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">she bows to you&#8211;she\u2019s seen fugitives<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">evade recapture when the mouth<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 20px;\">doesn\u2019t seal like stone, suspend<\/p>\n<p>the letters of a name like fireflies in amber.<br \/>\nBut yes, this letting go the dead.
