<i>manna<\/i><br \/>\n&amp; <i>breathe<\/i> &amp; all your black girls names<br \/>\nall over all the books &amp; skies<br \/>\ntill the wide world was your jam<br \/>\n&amp; everything smelled like church<br \/>\n&amp; pink lotion &amp; cocoa butter<br \/>\nwas recognized as greased gold<br \/>\n&amp; currency\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 but I am not wise<br \/>\nI am stupid with your scalps\u2019 sweet<br \/>\nchar, your hips &amp; their twerk<br \/>\n&amp; birth &amp; how they mount akimbo<br \/>\nwith ashy, smooth fist, how the whole<br \/>\neverything started right there<br \/>\nin that soft wild that makes the world<br \/>\ncrave &amp; that is a kind of praying too)<\/p>\n<p>the knees begat the mouth splattered<br \/>\nacross him-colored dirt road<br \/>\nthe mouth splattered across her<br \/>\n-colored dirt road still begat song<br \/>\nsong begat hymn\u2019s at the sweet \u2018boy\u2019s\u2019 funeral<\/p>\n<p>the sweet girl\u2019s funeral begat<br \/>\nher aunt\u2019s disgusted head shake<\/p>\n<p>his aunt\u2019s disgusted head shake<br \/>\nbegat the world that killed<br \/>\nthe not a boy-child<br \/>\n&amp;
